Silly Songs with Mr. Rowland

Tues. Sept. 14 at 10:30 and Saturday, Oct. 2 at 11 am. Kids and Parents are invited to sing, dance, and play along with rythm instruments. No registration.

Storytime

Stories, songs, and a simple craft. Sept. 21 through Oct. 28. (Next series to be announced.) No registration.

Youth Programs Kick-Off Rock n' Roll and Pizza Party

Wed. Sept. 15 at 6:30 on the Library lawn. (Rain date Thurs. Sept. 16). For elementary-school-age kids participating interested in participating in Reader's Lair or Art Smart. Erik Narwhal and the Manatees perform. Participants will receive new or gently used books.

Readers' Lair Book Clubs

Ask at the youth services desk for copies of the books.

Art Smart

On the second Friday of each month at 4 pm, starting October 8. For kids in grades 3 through 6. Learn how to make art in the styles of different great masters.


Saturday Drop-In Crafts

Several projects for kids and parents to do together. Drop in anytime between 11 and 3:30 every Saturday beginning Sept. 11, in the library except on the 25th in the Memorial Park at the Apple Fest. (Craft programs are not appropriate for children 3 and under as small parts might present a hazard.)

  • Sat. Sept 11 – Farm Animals
  • Sat. Sept 18 - Apples, Apples Everywhere
  • Sat. and Sun Sept. 25 & 26- Look for Mohr Library’s crafts table at the Kid’s Zone of the Apple Fest at the Johnston War Memorial Park.
