Tues. Sept. 14 at 10:30 and Saturday, Oct. 2 at 11 am. Kids and Parents are invited to sing, dance, and play along with rythm instruments. No registration.

Storytime

Youth Programs Kick-Off Rock n' Roll and Pizza Party

Wed. Sept. 15 at 6:30 on the Library lawn. (Rain date Thurs. Sept. 16). For elementary-school-age kids participating interested in participating in Reader's Lair or Art Smart. Erik Narwhal and the Manatees perform. Participants will receive new or gently used books.

Readers' Lair Book Clubs

• Grades K-2 on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 6:30. Talk about On the Day You Were Born by Debra Frasier.
• Grades 3-5 on Monday, Oct. 18 at 6:30. Discuss How Oliver Olsen Changed the World by Claudia Mills.
• Grade 5 on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 6:30. The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket.
• Grades 6-12 on Wed. Oct. 20 at 6:30. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

Ask at the youth services desk for copies of the books.

Art Smart

On the second Friday of each month at 4 pm, starting October 8. For kids in grades 3 through 6. Learn how to make art in the styles of different great masters.

Saturday Drop-In Crafts

Several projects for kids and parents to do together. Drop in anytime between 11 and 3:30 every Saturday beginning Sept. 11, in the library except on the 25th in the Memorial Park at the Apple Fest. (Craft programs are not appropriate for children 3 and under as small parts might present a hazard.)

• Sat. Sept 11 – Farm Animals
• Sat. Sept 18 - Apples, Apples Everywhere
• Sat. and Sun Sept. 25 & 26- Look for Mohr Library’s crafts table at the Kid’s Zone of the Apple Fest at the Johnston War Memorial Park.
